We join two manuscript leaves presenting the young artist in her early years.Yvana Stella was born on 26 November 1945 in Algiers. She grew up in Algiers, São Paulo, Rome and Monaco. She trained at the Rome School of Art in 1965 and in Paris in 1981. In 1995 she became involved in Paris municipal politics. She is buried with her husband Gérard Sakon in the cemetery of Chalo-Saint-Mars.Her early canvases were still lifes, then she drew inspiration from ancient Rome, also producing mythological scenes and subjects related to Venice. She created portraits of Lionel Jospin using newspaper collages. She designed sculptures from various materials collected on the shores of the Mare Nostrum.
