Description

Paul Lacroix, a curator at the National Library, presents tales from Bibliophile Jacob to his grandchildren about the history of France. Published in Paris by Firmin-Didot in 1875, this large octavo features a red half-morocco publisher's binding with gilt edges. It includes a frontispiece and 11 illustrations by H. Philippoteaux, along with a chromolithograph by Emile Wattier. The book has around 500 pages, with some foxing and missing corners on 3 leaves, and rounded corners.
