Four-volume set edited by Charles Laboulaye, forming a comprehensive technological encyclopedia. Paris, Librairie du Dictionnaire des Arts et Manufactures, 1874–1875. Large quarto format, 20 x 28 cm. Half-leather bindings (signed Mazeron), first volume heavily worn, stopping at letter C (coke) and resuming at letter E in the next volume (missing end of C and letter D). Occasional foxing, otherwise corners bumped. Over 4,000 in-text woodcut illustrations. Technological encyclopedia by Charles Laboulaye (1813–1886), member of the jury for the 1862, 1867, and 1878 Universal Exhibitions. Complete set including the supplementary volume on "Art industriel". No shipping outside the European Union.
