Historical account of the 135th Infantry Regiment. Angers, no date, no publisher name, octavo, paperbound, 180 pages. Details major engagements: August 22, 1914 - 17 officers and 1,500 men lost (killed, wounded, missing) near Bièvre, Belgium. August 30, 1914 - 11 officers and 1,100 men lost in rearguard combat near Faux. September 8-9, 1914 - engaged north of Fère-Champenoise during Marne counter-offensive. October 25, 1914 - captures Zonnebeke with 114th RI. September 25, 1915 - 38 officers and 1,162 men lost at Agny. April 21 - May 10, 1916 - Verdun engagement: 31 officers and 979 men lost. 1917 - operations in Aisne region (Loivre, Brimont, Villers-Franqueux). 1918 - Lorraine, Aisne, and Flanders campaign. June-November 1918 - repels multiple German attacks, participates in pursuit operations; cited 3 times in Army Orders.
