Charming collection containing three works attributed to Dorat: Letter from the Count of Comminges to his mother, followed by a Letter from Philomène to Progné, 1764, 68 pp. — Letter from Barnevelet in his prison, to Tuman his friend, preceded by a letter from the author, 1763, 37 pp. — Letter from Alcibiades to Glicera, Flower-seller of Athens, followed by a Letter from Venus to Paris, and an Epistle to the Mistress I shall have, 1764, 36 pp. Published in Paris by the printing house of Sébastien Jorry. Full leather binding (minor wear to headbands, worn corners), marbled edges, delightfully adorned with 6 vignettes, 4 tail-pieces & 4 full-page figures by Eisen.
