Contains 3ff + folding engraving + 218 pp. Includes an engraving depicting the cottage demolished by order of the authority. The narrative describes the demolition of a hovel owned by winegrower Morisset, carried out in 1819 under the pretext that it obstructed a rich neighbor's view, which sparked public outrage and led to a subscription for its reconstruction. The folding lithograph frontispiece illustrates the demolition scene.
