Dedicated to the people who subscribed to his recovery. Authentic story told of the Clichy cabin, a hovel owned by a winegrower named Morisset, and which a rich neighboring owner had demolished in 1819 on the pretext that it obstructed his view. The affair aroused immense indignation and a subscription was organized for its reconstruction. The folding lithograph frontispiece shows the scene of the demolition.
