CAMACHO Jorge, BOUNOURE Vincent 'Talismans' Éditions surréalistes, 1967, (23 x 30 cm), 55 pp. Uncut sheets, untrimmed edges, cream publisher's wrappers folded, housed in a cardboard slipcase. Facing pages feature poems by Vincent Bounoure and illustrations by Jorge Camacho enclosed in colored circles, depicting the obverse and reverse of a medal. The poet and artist aimed to 'blazon the female body.' Printed in 651 numbered copies. This is a hors-commerce copy on nacreous Japanese paper with dual inscriptions by the poet and artist: 'Copy for René Girard, augmented by the friendship of Vincent Bounoure and Camacho,' enriched with 2 'prière d'insérer' booklets, titled 'Le désir à pile et face,' and 6 additional etched talismans (dated and signed JC VB) on 3 double-plates with embossed motifs on Japanese paper as well. A superb copy.
