Description

Opération coeur de Paris. Preface by Jean Cocteau. Havas, Paris, 1962, large format (25 cm x 24.5 cm), 47 pp. Includes an illustration by Jean Cocteau (color print on silk-screen paper). One of the numbered and personalized copies on Kromokote paper. Publisher's boards under a white vellum dust jacket from Papeteries d'Arche (Paris emblem with a heart at the center), under rhodoid. Contribution to urban planning studies initiated by the district of Paris in the early 60s. Interesting passage on the heart of Paris imagined for the year 2000. A pleasant copy.
