Gustave Barba, undated, circa 1845, in 4°, 28 × 20 cm, cardboard binding (original), worn corners, spine (amateur repair), scattered reddening, a small window on the map of the Isthmus of Suez but in the desert), XII introductory plates (missing 2 double maps: travelers' names world map… as well as the mappemonde) followed by 98 color plates in double pages. Handwritten ink annotations on the blank sides of the plates.
Primitive geography, from Herodotus, Ptolemy’s system, Alexander’s empire, the known world of antiquity, Europe after the barbarian invasions, political and physical world maps…
