Half-leather bindings (signed Mazeron), first volume heavily worn, stopping at letter C (coke) and resuming at letter E in the next volume (missing end of C and letter D). Occasional foxing, otherwise corners bumped. Over 4,000 in-text woodcut illustrations. Technological encyclopedia by Charles Laboulaye (1813–1886), member of the jury for the 1862, 1867, and 1878 Universal Exhibitions.
