Author Louis ROUGIER (1889-1982) was an anti-Christian and liberal philosopher tied to Weygand, tasked with a mission to London in late October 1940. He later fled to the USA where he dismissed the legitimacy of fighting France. After the war, he affiliated with the Association for the Defense of the Memory of Marshal Petain and influenced the New Right, aiming to support the thesis of the Marechal's double game.
