Émile Mâle, born 2 June 1862 in Commentry (Allier) and died 6 October 1954 in Fontaine-Chaalis (Oise), is a French art historian, member of the Académie française.
Émile Mâle was a specialist of medieval Christian art and left an important oeuvre, which includes numerous monographs on the churches and cathedrals of France (La Cathédrale de Reims, Notre-Dame de Chartres, La Cathédrale d’Albi)
