Original wrappers with losses, untrimmed edges, interior in good condition otherwise. Would benefit from fine binding. Contains 112 speeches from the 14th to 19th centuries by D’Aguesseau, Gerson, Saint Fiacre, Étienne Pasquier, Expilly, Omer Talon, Nivelle, Montesquieu, Dupaty, and others. Includes speeches for the University of Paris against the cardinal of Lyon, on the legal profession, the Callas case, against a priest, ecclesiastical benefice trafficking, and the blessed bread trial.
