Returns & Exchanges

Due to the nature of antiquarian books, their condition is described in detail on each item’s page. Returns for reasons unrelated to the item’s condition are generally not accepted.

However, we will process returns or exchanges in the following cases:

• Visible damage incurred during transit (notify us within 7 days of delivery)
• Item received in a condition significantly different from the description
• Incorrect item shipped

Return shipping costs are covered by us in cases of our error; otherwise, they are borne by the customer.

Handling Defective Items

If you receive a defective item, please notify us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund, with return shipping covered by us.

For high-value rare books (€500+), we provide additional condition photographs and provenance details whenever possible. Please feel free to inquire.

Export Documentation

All items are listed with HS code 4901.99 (printed books) for customs purposes. A commercial invoice in English is included.

For books over 100 years old, an export licence (Certificat d'exportation pour bien culturel) may be required. We handle this on a case-by-case basis—please consult us in advance.
