Paul Verlaine's 'Songs for Her and Odes in Her Honor', published in Paris by Les Heures Claires in 1954, is presented as a folio in sheets. This edition is illustrated with 18 original drypoints in black by Paul Emile Bécat, who depicted the author’s features in the represented man. Limited to 499 copies, with this being one of 85 on numbered Rives vellum, noted as number 69. The copy is very nice despite the missing cardboard slipcase.
