Unpublished correspondence of Miss Theophile de Fernig, adjutant to General Dumouriez. Paris, Librairie de Firmin-Didot Freres, Fils et Cie, circa 1873. Aftermath of the coup of 18 Fructidor Year V according to the unpublished diary of Villeurnoy, secret agent of Louis XVIII and one of those deported to French Guiana, from original autograph manuscripts with introductions and notes by Honore Bonhomme. Félicite de Fernig and Theophile de Fernig, staff officers and adjutants of Dumouriez, fought at Valmy, Jemmapes, Anderlecht, and Nerwinde, conducting several glorious actions. Broached binding with split spine, with accompanying stamped notation dated 1924 bearing the address Mademoiselle de Fernig, Château de Frogennes (genealogy in pen on verso).
