In-12 paperback, printed cover, 333 pp. Historical context, conditions of creation, regulations, administration, training, physical and moral education, life, ideology, etc. interesting glossary in fine. These camps were created by Vichy on 30‑07‑1940, commissioned by de La Porte Du Theil, and dissolved in 1944. All young people in the free zone had to complete an 8‑month internship; the aim was naturally the “national revolution” but also to prepare trained and supervised men for a possible resumption of hostilities.
