In-4°, beautiful half-morocco binding with corners, small wear on corners and caps, gilded head, untrimmed, cover and spine preserved (René Kieffer binding). 56 color compositions by Alfred Le Petit, including one on the cover, 12 short story titles inset and 43 inset illustrations. One of the first 50 copies on Japan paper (n°25), the only ones to include an original watercolor in colors signed by the artist, and a series of engravings. Very fine copy.
