Attractive collection of Turkish art showcasing tiles found in various palaces and mosques and a variety of ceramics. The color plates in this volume are particularly attractively printed in strong colors that replicate the originals; several large folding plates are used to illustrate long thin or oversized decorative schemes. Tahsin Öz was curator at the Topkapi Museum. This work is one of the rare reference books on Turkish ceramics. The color reproductions are of exceptional quality.Related Products
