Courteline's Boubouroche (new comedy) features an unpublished preface and follows with Une canaille, etc. This 1926 Paris edition by Francois Bernouard measures 27.5 x 20 cm, grand in-8, and comprises 283 pp., including a photographic portrait of Courteline from 1905 reproduced in heliogravure. Limited to 50 copies on Holland paper, this is part of the first collective edition of Courteline's works, with notes and variants. The book is complete, uncut, in good condition with a slightly browned spine, and retains fresh appeal. Rare on this paper.
