Remarkable and moving testimony of a young teacher from Lot & Garonne. General compositions. Two volumes in fine half-chagrin bindings with corners (light wear on edges), approximately 450 pages each, 13.5 x 20.5 cm, entirely handwritten in beautiful fine and regular penmanship, a few sketches on the last two pages of one volume, otherwise well-preserved interior. Contents include: ancient and Roman history, French history, English history, poetry, analyses, practical life, letters, literature, narratives, expressions, grammar, mathematics, calculations, discounts, rhetoric. Nézida Mauroux, born 25 July 1834 in Le Passage, Lot et Garonne, married Monsieur Dargelos in 1856. Died 1 June 1884 in Tarbes. Schoolteacher.
