Beautiful half-chagrin bindings with corners (small wear at edges). 2 volumes of approximately 450 pages each, 13.5 x 20.5 cm, entirely handwritten in beautiful fine and regular pen handwriting. Few scribbles on last 2 pages of one volume, otherwise well-preserved interior. Contents: Ancient and Roman history, French history, English history, poetry, analyses, practical life, letters, literature, narrations, figures of speech, grammar, mathematics, calculations, discounts, rhetoric. Madame Nézida Mauroux, born July 25, 1834 in Le Passage, Lot et Garonne, married to Mr. Dargelos in 1856. Died June 1, 1884 in Tarbes. Free teacher.
