Printed in 1891 by Léon Genonceaux, discovered by Pascal Pia in 1966; publicly released in 1991 by Editions Tristram, causing shock among critics and readers. The lack of a clearly identified author and modern writing style has led to speculation about authenticity, but it is now irrefutably established.
