The Tintamarre, a weekly satirical publication from 1883, measures 48 x 33 cm and features a half-leather binding. It consists of 8 pages per week with some foxing evident. Launched on April 2, 1843, by Jules Lovy and Auguste Commerson, it critiques advertising and satirizes puffists while blending humorous articles with advertisements. Léon Bienvenu, also known as Touchatout, became the director in March 1872. Publication ceased on December 31, 1899, after 2,672 issues, regarded as a precursor to 'Chained Duck'.
