Rare set of 345 cards, (12 × 16 cm), black‑and‑white illustrations glued and mounted on a cardboard backing, (some pale discolorations, a few small defects on the cardboard supports, more rarely on the image): foals, mares and stallions… containing a number of indications (not exhaustive each time) such as the horse’s name, its depot, stud farm, stables, mare‑yard, the name of the sire & dam, a short physical description of the animal, its breed, year of birth, sometimes the name of the rider or owner, trainer, driver, the prizes sometimes won… or its speed, its height.
