Unbound sheets in white chemise with flaps, original printed covers (minor wear at corners and headbands) in blue with large yellow floral motifs. Title label featuring a woodcut facsimile. Fresh interior. Introduction and notes by L. J. Bouge, former governor of French Oceania. Reproduction of the nine issues and three supplements forming the collection, supplemented by five additional wood engravings completing the iconography of 'Le Sourire'. Limited to 1000 numbered copies, printed at Ateliers d'Art Georges Duval under Henri Jonquières’ supervision. Copy no. 83.
