Mucha JOB cigarette paper calendar 1897

Description

Advertising calendar for Job cigarette papers designed by Alphonse Mucha in 1897, illustrating one of the masterpieces of Art Nouveau with its stylised plant compositions and idealised female figures. The work, addressed to Mademoiselle Henriette de Pardailhan, presents itself as a collectible object tied to the commercial iconography of the period, combining practical function with refined aesthetics. The binding and engravings, characteristic of the lithographic edition from the late 19th century, make it a testament to Mucha’s influence on graphic design and illustrated advertising.
