Calmann Lévy. 1880. 3 volumes in 4 tomes, (complete), octavo, beautiful full leather binding, purple edges, 5 cracked joints, bumped corners, wear at headcaps, one board nearly detached, 413, 420, XXIII & 416 pp. in continuous pagination. Interior has a few rare foxing issues, otherwise well preserved. Paul REMUSAT, senator of Haute-Garonne published the memoirs of his grandmother, a lady of Empress Joséphine. His thoughts on the court and on Emperor Napoleon I, considered an embarrassing testimony and thus unpublished until the end of the 19th century.Related Products
