Description

BLAEUW, Guiljemum. Sabaudia Ducatus, Savoye, Amsterdam, (1630), in a somewhat damaged gilded wooden frame, 49x61 cm. Engraved geographic map on copper, hand-colored, with a central upper cut but otherwise well preserved. Lake Geneva at the top center, part of Dauphiné at the bottom and a large part of Valais to the east (including Martigny, Sion, and the Grand and Petit St. Bernard passes). Please specify at the time of shipment if you wish to have the frame & glass sent, as we cannot guarantee they will not break during transport.
