Features color maps of literary pilgrimages in France. Texts by distinguished contributors including Bedel, Cahuet, Hallays, Tharaud, Vaillat and others. Contents cover residences and sites associated with major French writers: Ronsard, Rabelais, Montaigne, Corneille, Loti, Hugo, Montesquieu, Balzac, Maupassant and others. Condition: worn slipcases (one missing), bindings with rubbing on corners and minor damage, yellowing on spines, external split on Volume II back cover. Slipcases and casings generally in fair condition despite wear.
