Complete works of La Fontaine adorned with thirty vignettes drawn by Devéria and engraved by Thompson Baudouin, published in 1826 in Paris. Size: 16 x 23 cm, a large octavo, wonderfully bound in full morocco (slightly sun-damaged), with gilded edges and scattered foxing. Contains (8) - VIII - 493 & (2) pages, text in two columns, one vignette on the title page and 30 engraved headpieces in the text, highlighted with hand-colored details.
