Contains a folding engraving depicting the cabin that was demolished by authority. The book recounts the authentic story of the Clichy cabin, owned by a winemaker named Morisset, which was torn down in 1819 by a wealthy neighbor claiming it obstructed his view. This incident led to widespread outrage and a fundraiser for its reconstruction. The lithographed frontispiece illustrates the demolition scene.
