Der Tintamarre is a French weekly satirical magazine from 1882, measuring 48 x 33 cm, with a half-leather binding, representing its 41st year and consisting of 8 pages per week. It showcased humorous and audacious commentary on contemporary literary, artistic, and industrial developments alongside advertisements. The magazine was first published on March 19, 1843, before officially starting on April 2 under the direction of Jules Lovy and Auguste Commerson. It was ultimately discontinued on December 31, 1899, after 59 years and 2,672 issues, recognized as a direct ancestor of later satirical publications.
