Le Tintamarre is a French satirical weekly published in 1882, measuring 48 x 33 cm, with a half-leather binding. It is the 41st year of publication, with 8 pages per week, and features some browning. Launched on April 2, 1843, by Jules Lovy and Auguste Commerson, it mixes humorous and whimsical articles on literary, artistic, and industrial novelties with advertisements. It had a circulation of 2,300 copies in 1850 and ceased publication on December 31, 1899, after 59 years and 2,672 issues, earning recognition as a precursor to Le Canard enchaîné.
