Description

Les Sensitives, Album des salons, published circa 1846, features 18 short stories with female names as titles. Edited by Bibliophile Jacob, the work includes 18 English engravings by Finden, presented with serpentes. It is a quarto format (28 x 36.5 cm), consisting of 155 pages, bound in beautiful moiré cloth with a gold-trimmed edge. The binding shows some wear with two corners slightly bumped and scattered foxing.
