The frontispiece portrait (Max Strauss) and 11 significant paintings are reproduced as etchings, all etched by William Unger. 221 lots were offered for auction, including works by Brouwer, Canaletto, Kriehuber, A. v. Ostade, Teniers, Tiepolo, Waldmüller. Quarto format, 74 pages, 49 illustrated leaves under printed silk covers, stitched binding, cover rubbed.
