First edition of this experimental and reasoned study of the Swedish system developed by Thure Brandt (1819-1895), who, 150 years before Arnold Kegel, pioneered gynaecological physiotherapy and proposed pelvic floor rehabilitation exercises. Text illustrated with figures based on photographs—likely for modesty, female figures are replaced by male figures in the gymnastics exercises. The volume concludes with a translation of Thure Brandt’s Traitement des maladies des femmes.Extremely rareRelated Products
