One of 700 copies of the illustrated edition of this carefully produced catalog. The frontispiece portrait (Max Strauss) and 11 significant paintings are reproduced as etchings, all etched by William Unger. 221 lots were offered for auction, including works by Brouwer, Canaletto, Kriehuber, Av. Ostade, Teniers, Tiepolo, Waldmüller. Quarto format, 74 pages, 49 leaves with illustrations under printed silk covers, sewn, cover rubbed.
