Volume I: 3 ff. n. ch. (false title, frontispiece, title), VI pp. (preface), 1 ff. n. ch. (notice on Cervantes), 480 pp. Volume II: 2 ff. n. ch. (false title, title), 524 pp. First edition of this translation by Frédéric de Brotonne (1797-1840), sub-librarian at the Sainte-Geneviève library. Illustrated with a portrait of Cervantes engraved on the frontispiece and off-text copper engravings by Charlet. (Quérard-Louandre-Bourquelot, II, p. 450).
