Composite wood panel, 30.2 x 18.2 x 1.9 cm, with minor wear on a corner (see our photo), otherwise in very good condition. Christophe Jehan, born in 1961, is a French artist. He studied architecture in Paris and worked in the Caribbean while painting in his spare time. He later returned to France and settled in the southwest, devoting himself entirely to painting. His works are part of a figurative approach, exploring a playful and vibrant universe. The artist captures life scenes in his sculptures and canvases, where characters evoke our imagination. He gives them names and stories, influenced by life encounters, resulting in colorful and lively paintings that convey a sense of deep joy. Christophe Jehan started exhibiting at markets before being spotted by a gallery that regularly showcases his works.
