Paris, Georges Hurtrel, Artist-Publisher, 1882, duodecimo, 218 pages, frontispiece and 9 plates of engravings outside the text (8 in two-color), vignettes, initials and tailpieces, cream printed paperboard cover under red cloth folder decorated with publisher's gilt ornaments (laces unfortunately broken), with pale foxing. Edition of 1000 hand-numbered and author-signed copies, here copy no. 54. Illustrations by Adolphe Lalauze (etcher); designers MM. Riester, A. Lalauze, Uzès, Georges Hurtrel; engravers MM. F. Méaulle and Gillot.
