Henri ROUSSEAU (known as the Douanier) and Tristan TZARA present an exhibition review of the 1889 show, along with 'The Revenge of a Russian Orphan.' Published in Vesenaz by Pierre Cailler in 1947, this two-volume work features 140 and 168 pages in a 12mo format, with full covers. Includes 4 illustrations and a lengthy preface by Tzara, also present in the first edition. This is one of 200 copies on primed white paper, number 179. It is the first edition from the André Breton auction of 2003, lot n°499 (referenced on page 233 of the Calmels Cohen auction book).
