Beautiful half brown morocco bindings, spine decorated with blue title pieces, gilt fillets and fleurons, octavo format, 1868/82, published by Mame. Minor skin abrasions at the tops of 2 volumes, rubbed corners, one leaf with a tear (no loss), otherwise in good condition, 502, 492, 382, 376 pages. Manuscript dedication to Mr. Hilaire de La Comble located on the title page of volume III, during the period when the author was appointed Archbishop of Paris.
