André Breton views Rimbaud as facing a conspiring fraud and manipulation. Published by Theseus in 1949, it is an octavo paperback with 68 pages and dimensions 18.7 x 23.7 cm. The original lithographic cover is based on a 1895 drawing by Henri Rousseau. It shows light signs of wear at the caps, a visible spine, and is complete with errata, which is glued at the end. The interior is very fresh, being one of 100 copies on Dutch laid paper, signed by André Breton, this is number 96.
