First edition (Travaux et mémoires de l'Institut d'ethnologie, LVII). A masterful ethnological study dedicated to a village in Seine Maritime bordering Picardie. Published by the École pratique des Hautes Études. "Nouville is the name of a municipality with 613 inhabitants in 1946, located on the Bresle, at the border of Normandy and Picardie.
