Gérard de Nerval’s works published by Editions de l'Acanthe, Monte-Carlo, 1960. Square quarto format (20x25cm), loose sheets, with folded illustrated covers, half-leather slipcase with decorated spines (2 split hinges, minor skinning) & under slipcases (rubbed at edges), 309 & 309 pages (fresh condition). Illustrated with 76 lithographs by Suzanne Ballivet. One of 30 artist’s and collaborator’s copies on pure white rag vellum, numbered here as no. III, and enriched with a dedication by Suzanne Ballivet. A very fine copy.
