Georges Polti, born December 15, 1867, in Providence, USA, and died in Paris in June 1946, was a French writer known for his works on theater such as Les 36 situations dramatiques. He was a student at the Lycée Rollin in Paris, where he connected with future notable figures like Louis Weber and Papus.
