Arthur DOURLIAC's 'Droit d'aînesse' by Delagrave, circa 1920. Large quarto volume (397 pp.), publisher's cloth binding with rich black and gold Art Nouveau decoration on front cover and spine. Back cover features a medallion with a lady leaning over a lute. Spine slightly worn, minor tears at hinges and foot, corners rubbed, gilt on front cover slightly faded. Overall in good condition. Numerous black-and-white illustrations throughout. Followed by six short stories: 'Sur les planches,' 'La dote de Claudine,' 'Le beau Narcisse,' 'Mr. Tartlett va-t-en ville,' 'Deux vieux,' and 'Pantalons rouges.'
