The color plates are particularly attractively printed in strong colors that replicate the originals; several large folding plates illustrate long thin or oversized decorative schemes. Tahsin Öz was curator at the Topkapi Museum. This work is one of the rare reference books on Turkish ceramics. The color reproductions are of fine quality.
